Shooom, a baby owl, hatches just as a storm turns the bayou surrounding her tree upside down. No sooner has she fallen from her nest, then the little fledgling totters off into the mangrove, pushing a second egg from the brood along with her.

French director, Julien Bisaro burnished his weapons at Beaux-Arts Academy where he discovered animation techniques. He went on to train at the Poudrière Animation School (Valence, France). While there, he directed three student films including L’oeil du cyclone, awarded First Prize for Best 2D film, boosted by a further award for the soundtrack at the Festival Animex 2007 (U.K). This film was selected in several festivals including Hiroshima (Japan), Animafest (Zagreb), LIAF (London).
Julien then worked as an animator on a number of short films such as Coquard-Dassault’s film, L’ondée and Labaye’s Orgesticulanismus. He also worked on feature films in a variety of capacities: set designer and layout-man on Brendan and the Secret of Kells directed by Moore; animator and chief lay-out designer on Ernest and Célestine, directed by Renner, Patard and Aubier; story-boarder and graphics co-author on Le tableau, directed by Laguionie and recently on I Lost My Body directed by Clapin, Grand Prix of La semaine de la critique at Cannes Festival 2019. For this film, Julien is nominated at the 2020 Annie Awards in the Best Storyboarding - Feature category.Контакти
