Alexander Donev

Producer, documentary film maker, screen writer. Has experience as a film critic,
film theaters manager, film distributor. Produced several animation shorts, awarded at national and international festivals.
Film Studies tutor at National Academy for Theater and Film Arts in Sofia. Has PhD degree in Film studies, Film art and Television. Researcher at the Institute for Art studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Science. Member of the European film academy, Union of the Bulgarian Film makers and Union of the Bulgarian Journalist. Author of the books: “Ask the Audience. Bulgarian feature films and their spectators in the beginning of 21st century” (2018), “|Cinema Independents. From Edison till Netflix” (2019).
