Synopsis
Paul Johnson's 8th short film in 8 years "Run" explores 2d animation cycles to their extreme. Each 24 frame run cycle is timed tightly to 6 minutes of original music, exploring almost endless kaleidoscopic variations and colours.
Director's BIO
Paul found an animation career in 1995 at the age of 24, and has evolved from hand-drawn animation through digital 2d, 3d, and video game cinematics. Adaptable and enjoying every step of the way, Paul is focused on dividing his time between studio work and creating 20 short films in 20 years, including music composition, concept, design, marketing, and of course animation.
Paul has worked in animation since 1995 and taught animation for 15 years. He is making 20 short films in 20 years, with his 8th short film "Run" currently submitting to festivals.Contacts
